MEET THE BOARD
President - Bryon Hansel
Greetings fellow Vikings. I am honored to be the President of the Mini Viking Parents (MVP) for the 2024-2025 school year. I have been involved with MVP for many years and have enjoyed partnering with the teachers and staff of the elementary school to enhance the educational experience of the students. MVP does a lot of good things for the school, and I would love to partner with you to continue and expand that positive impact. I have 5 children in the Evergreen District with 2 of them in the elementary school and my wife Amber is a Kindergarten teacher here as well. We are a Viking family through and through and look forward to seeing you and your student(s) around school or at an MVP event in the near future. GO VIKINGS!
Vice President - Marcy Barnes
Marcy Barnes currently serves as the Vice President of The Mini Viking Parent Club. Marcy has been involved with MVP for 6 years. Marcy is a married to Clint and they have 3 children. Lincoln (5th Grade), Cash (3rd Grade) and McKinley (3 years old). She enjoys helping out in the school, supporting teachers and planning fun events for the kids! Marcy works at Sauder Village as the Human Resource Manager. As a family they enjoy camping, showing hogs, sporting events and spending quality time with friends and family!
Treasurer - Tony Aguilar
Tony Aguilar currently serves as the Treasurer of The Mini Viking Parent Club. Tony has been involved with MVP for the past few years. Tony is married to Ashleigh and they have 3 children. Ava is 9 and is in the third grade. Alivia and Adriana are 6 and are in first grade. The best part of being involved with MVP is supporting the students, getting to know the faculty, staff, and the community members. As a family they enjoy traveling, cedar point, going to University of Michigan games, and spending time with friends and family.
Secretary - Lisa Stirn
Lisa Stirn currently serves as the Secretary of the Mini Viking Parent Club. Lisa has been involved with MVP for six years. Lisa is married to Jerry and has two step-children. Brandon is 24 and just recently relocated to Jasper, Georgia for work and Bridgette is 22 and just recently got engaged. In addition to Brandon and Bridgette, they also have two children. Anna is 10 and is in fifth grade and Ryan is 8 and is in third grade. The best part of being involved with MVP is meeting new people, planning fun events in support of the students, and seeing what an amazing community we live in. Lisa is currently in her 21st year of teaching and works at Springfield Middle School as an Intervention Specialist. In her free time, Lisa enjoys planning trips, going to Cedar Point, shopping, and spending time with her family.
